I found a 77 Sears "Titanic" set.

Found this 1977 Sears Color Portable (Sanyo?) today at the Thrift Store, I paid a whopping $6.98 for it.

This is the same model used in the 1997 movie Titanic, perhaps you've heard of it?

It works fine but as usual the controls are in serious need of cleaning, it was a smokers set too, brown and smelly in the vents.

The Smoked Sun Shield has a big crack in it near the tuning knob, fortunately it's removable so I don't have to see it.
I seem to have started a small collection of Mod 70's TV's without intending to, they just pop up now and then and I have to buy them.

The only DVD I had handy was a copy of Leave it to Beaver so it's B&W.
