TV set funeral, my Sylvania color TV died

Got home, popped the back off the set to try to fix the vertical (about 1/3 the picture was on the tube, and 2/3 of it collapsed to a thin line). Tried caps, not it. Looks like a vertical output chip died, and my brother needed the space it occupied. And it looks like the blown chip is unobtanium... So, with a heavy heart, I had to "put it to sleep". Salvaged the chassis, and the comb filter board looks like I could use it elsewhere, so I saved it intact. Maybe build an Svideo maker from composite NTSC... So a portion may live on.
