I got a couple Christmas photos like that somewhere, and the before the kids get up shot with the old man hitting the coffee hard...
My big girl helps me with stuff but that about where the interest ends. My little one is more about dance etc... I do try to get them involved at least enough so they know the diff between a capcitor and resistor, and tubes of course. as a science project with my little one I made a cap out of some packing tape and alum foil, rolled it up and everything (prob could sell to the audiophools), tested as about a .006 on the cap tester. There is a fine line between getting them involved and taking over (which I tend to do). My Dad did it great, he would let me fail repeatedly without jumping in to save the day, you learn far more from mistakes, but it can be unnerving for the parent. Reece, I can relate to that pic, for me it was beanie babbies... |
