CRT Data...
The wife picked up a new all-in-one printer today, and I've been playing with the scanner. I have a horde of post-15GP22 CRT data I got when my Dad closed up shop in 2008:
1975 RCA Picture Tube Product Guide - CRT tube data on more than 500 Color and Monochrome CRTs - basing, envelope dimensions, deflection angle, safety features, electrical characteristics, weight, PM/Ion Trap required, etc. 1984 Empire Video/Video Display CRT replacement guide - lists ~ 300color CRTs and their replacement types, up to year 1984, including "foreign types" - meaning Asian CRTs. Sony Model to CRT data - thru 17" - I'm still looking for the second page. What I'd like to do is scan all of the above and post them here, but I'm going through the due diligence and researching/requesting the copyright clearance. I've already emailed Video Display about their guide, but RCA is a different story. There's no copyright statement on the guide, no filing with the Library of Congress, and it's pre-1976 copyright act, so it may be quite easy. If only Thomson was easier to make sense of - no "true" RCA division. In the mean time, if you need any info, just PM me. Attached is the Sony data - the source document is an old electrostat copy, cleaned up before PDF production. Cheers,
