The CTC-21 is Off The Bench

Woo hoo, the CTC-21 is up and running.

Such a sweet old girl....and I am freaking bouncing off the walls. She is ready for the Holidays and for the switch over.

The pics are from a dvd and not the clearest in the world as I didn't have my pro slr camera, just a little point and shoot but you can get the idea and see her working in all her New Vista glory!

Still have some touch ups to do on the convergence and I still have a couple of caps to replace and I will probably go ahead and replace a e-cap can that seems to be a little warmer than I would like, but otherwise, she is up and running.

She had lost all color sync, vertical linearity and the usual chroma board ground issues. The flyback seems to be running quite cool....just lightly warm after 30 minutes of operation and this is a good thing for sure.
