I know what you mean. Often, these bidders will run the bid up to some high amount and then don't pay. I had this happen on something I bought on epay once. Some zero feedback bidder kept running the bid up until he outbid me and then never paid. I wound up buying the item through a second chance offer. That pissed me off because I could have gotten the item cheap had some deadbeat SOB not run the price up. Of course, that whole ordeal could have been the work of a "shill bidder."

Now, I don't feel so bad about paying $50 for my B&W console at the thrift store.
