Your help? Mystery chassis ID
Hi to all, I normally hang out in the Audio sections here at AK but have a chassis that I _think_ may be from an early TV. I've done some surfing around here and elsewhere and _think_ this may be a Halicrafters TV chassis that _may_ have some out of one of their early consoles. Here's my logic so far:
- Some Hallicrafters console TVs included a record player and this chassis has provisions for one. - The string of 6SH7s in what looks like the IF strip that were used in some early Hallicrafters TVs - One picture has a label indicating: Amplifier NO. 7788 Other things I know at this point: - Its got one 6L6 sitting by the metal rectifier tube. So, can anyone shed further light on this? I do not have the chassis in my possession and will not until Christmas. I do appreciate your help very much.
