The Last of the Mohicans (1992)

I just acquired a letterbox VHS version of "The Last of the Mohicans" starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeleine Stowe. I've seen this movie countless times on cable and lamented the loss of scope when converting to full screen. It is a pleasure to see it again in letterbox. What a beautifully made movie! This film captures colonial America in all its glory. No CG, all real action and all faithfully authentic.
