Great Philips K9 find

I found this K9 in the trash on saturday. The cabinet is in unusual good shape, i would say 7 or 8 of 10. Actually, the only damages is some scratches on the left side, most of them probably made by me when i lifted it out of the trash container (it weighs about 80 pounds!). It powered up immediately with a reasonable good picture when i plugged it in, but the green beam was not working. It turned out to be a broken switch on the convergence panel. It was probably shorted. In my opinion this was a strange problem, but i just removed the switch and soldered a wire in its place for now. I have a K9 parts set where i can get another switch. I made some minor adjustments to the focus and color balance, and the picture on the A66-410X Delta-gun tube became bright, crystal clear and with great colors. I gave the entire set a good clean on the in- and outside, using compressed air and window cleaning fluid/alcohol-water mix, and now it looks almost like new. The K9 chassis has a push-pull line output stage, which i have never seen before. I also has a touch sensitive all electronic channel selector with 6 selections, the last one is a VCR-channel. The sound system consist of a push-pull amplifier with separate bass and treble controls, driving the usual Philips speaker configuration; separate woofer and tweeter, and if that isn´t good enough there is an external speaker connection on the backside. I am not sure about the output power, but i would guess somewhere between 6 and 10 watts. Anyway, it sounds very good, like an old Philips usually does.
