Rich, here's some of the knobs I have. The volume knobs are listed for the following sets:
H894T17 H867T21 H876T24B/H877T24B H865T21B Some of the colors are a little different. Some have the gold insert, some do not. Seems I remember a large fine tuner knob, but it's currently lost among the many others.

Model H-864T21B, it's in sams 270-18. The knob that's on mine is the one not in a package on the back right, in the first picture.
I can't beleive the pencil holder went for 212 times what the TV itself did. While we're on the subject mine is missing the control door, anyone got a spare one of those? Last edited by Adam; 04-25-2006 at 12:30 AM.

According to the above mentioned Sams, there are several different models for this set... using five different volume knobs depending on model. It seems that I have two or three of the volume knobs. Maybe one of them will work out for you Rich. Lemme know what you find out when you get the set.

I looked up the Sams... 253-17... to get knob numbers. Seems they did not list the knobs. I went back and checked your set number on the packages in case I missed one, but no luck. I only have about 9 Westinghouse knobs in packages with numbers. Of course, if a photo of the correct knob can be found, I can look thru all the loose ones I have.

I looked at my set a little bit tonight. The CRT was replaced in April 1969. That must have been a costly repair on a 10 year old B/W television.

The first two pics are the tuner knobs, the third the volume/contrast. The picture of the volume/contrast knobs removed didn't come out, but the contrast is identical to the fine tuning knob in the first picture and the volume is the same as this one from up above (I cut that picture down, to show just that knob and made it the fourth picture here)

Intermittent horizontal sync problems:
I really don't like when a TV I've already fixed breaks again, after having had it on for several hours yesterday, the horizontal sync started going in and out like someone was messing with the hold control. There's no more wax/paper caps in this, so my first thought was the horiz. osc tube, I took it out and tested it, it was a bit weak, so I put in another, and it worked (for about 20 min) and then went back to what it was doing before. Basically, if I let everything cool for a bit it works, but as soon as it is on for a while it looses horizontal sync again. I'm thinking the resistor inbetween the power supply and the horiz. osc coil is starting to burn out, I hope it's that one and not the one between the coil and the tube, because I have a replacement for that one already, but not the other. Anyway, I think this means that if I test the resistors, they should test ok, as the problem only comes as the set heats up, so I might just replace that one, let the set run and see what happens. If at that point it still does this, I'll already have it out and up on my bench, and I can check voltages while it is going, to try to locate the problem.

This might be a good job for a can of freeze spray. Wait until it warms up and acts up, then go spraying all the suspect resistors. If you don't have any spray you can get it at Radio Schlock for too much money, or use a can-of-air upside down, I think that works as well.
