Just saw the Stewart Granger/James Mason version of Zenda this afternoon on TCM.The Granger/Mason swordfight is among the best in cinematic history INMHO.Earlier one with Ronald Coleman/Douglas Fairbanks jr. ranks highly too,and the duels Errol Flynn & Basil Rathbone did in Robin Hood & Captain Blood rank up there also.Yeah,stunt doubles were used in some scenes of each fight but,Douglas Fairbanks sr. did his own work in Zorro and others.
