Quick update, this has been put off for a while due to other projects and missing schematics.

I tested the horizontal output transistor and it just came up as a 90 ohm resistor.
Got a replacement and then upon power-on I got a somewhat flaky sounding 15khz signal, then a couple of high voltage sparks, something went haywire and then it died.
Not surprising, it's usually not the transistor that is the fault, but a result of another fault.

Anyways, the flyback was full of tiny cracks in the plastic shell and looked awful, so I'm suspecting it.
I gave up this project and stripped the TV for parts, saved the tube and sold the casing.
The tube is a Sanyo 370HGB22.

I'm thinking this was a smokers set, everything inside of it was yellowed and looked quite aged.

Thanks for the help, this was a learning experience.
