1968 Motorola TS-915 WID

I got this set the other day, and it was only 5 miles away! The set is in really nice shape and CRT is very strong. Besides some electrolytics that are self-destructing, This set works really well.

Very nice, I'm jealous, mine has a very weak CRT. Those plastic case German electrolytic capacitors have really got to go!

Looks like you got the first gen WID. My first memories are of watching one of the last Hybrids they made... Someday I'll own the exact model again.

Ah yes, works in a drawer. I thought the idea for the service man was a great idea. I remember the horizontal drive/output module not being that reliable. Motorola had Drexel make a lot of there cabinets. Those stereo combos were really heavy.

Very, very nice! I suspect that then engineers behind this set, which really was an important step forward, would be quite pleased to see it looking that good in 2020.
