Sylvania 527M Halolight, I feel like an idiot...

Does anyone know where the brightness and contrast controls are on this sucker? I've searched for 15 minutes and I can't find em!

If I slowly tune between channels, I get a blank full raster. Tuning on a channel detent, I get almost nothing. If I can tune it off frequency, I can see just a little snow. Hoping it's just that, could be a tube, but I thought I'd start with finding the stupid controls first

This is a restored set that I just picked up, BTW.....

Knobs on Halo-light 21C501

Well, on my Halo-Light TV model 21C501 the brightness is the big knob around the off-on-volume control knob on the left, and the contrast is a small thumb-wheel knob right underneath the big channel selector knob on the right. Underneath the volume/brightness is a thumb-wheel which is the tone.

That was it, the knob wasn't turning the shaft. Removed the knob and did it by hand, and it was fine

That's not the issue though. It has a fine raster on blank channels, inject a signal in and the screen goes nearly black. Sound is fine. Found a shorted 12BY7 so far, still testing tubes...
