12QP4 worth Saving?
I have a couple of CRT's that I have been saving but not sure if it's worth saving them.
so is a 12QP4 worth saving for rebuilding someday? also a 19AP4 slow warming but was rebuilt once it looks. thanks! |

Just about ANY vintage CRT is worth saving now--since NO ONE is rebuilding them right now Particularly old ones--like those. Slow warming--but still useable...

Worth saving. Used in early Dumont, another brand I forgot, and, at least one Admiral which I have.

I think that Crosley may have used the 19AP4. What about Zenith portholes? Didn't they do a run with them?

Sure, there are 19" portholes. Admiral, Dumont, RCA, Stromberg Carlson Zenith and other brands used the 19AP4.

Pretty good tubes for the first 45 years or so. Air city these days!

Zenith didn't use the 12JP4. They used 12UP4, and, 12LP4.
