RCA B&W CRT 16" Metal Cone

Hi to All,

Saw this 50s vintage B&W RCA metal cone CRT today.

ID on glass shows 16xx as the reference number. Could perhaps make someone happy...

No affiliation of course.

I think it says 16GP4, which is what I guessed it was. There is also a 16AP4 metal CRT that has a narrower deflection angle. I have that one in a 1949 Magnavox combo set.

A local antique mall had a metal cone crt sitting outside, in front of the store, as decoration! After several months I finally bought it, brought it home, the filaments light up fine and it actually tests okay. That was several years ago...I still haven't tried it in a set.
