Check this out, $1500 bucks for a system 3 in one of those silver plastic corner cabinets:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Zenith-25-Corner...4#ht_500wt_947 And quoted from the auction, he claims to have bought the set several years before it was made -- "I personaly purchased this TV in 1972 for $1,373.00"  I don't know when the first ones of those were, 1979 maybe? And I'm not sure if they were all system 3 sets, or there were some of the last ccII's with the vertical chassis in that cabinet. All the ones I've ever seen were system 3s. I think those came out, first using the upright CCII chassis, around '76-'77. The cabinet style continued to be used, with various system 3 designs, up until the mid '80's. Even if he shaved $1K off his price, I think he'd still have a hard time getting rid of it. I've had several over the years and I don't think I ever paid more than $10 for one. I remember getting one from the local Zenith shop as they were about to toss it. I don't know if lightning got it or if it burned up on it's own; but, the 9-160 deflection module was burnt to a crisp.
