"JB5pro",
Thanks, Yes,some of what I say is "tongue in cheek" (you've got to find the humor in life) and some isn't.

Perhaps some of the other members here will weigh in with their thoughts so we may gain a better insight as to what people think.

As far as adults trying to live out their childhood,I guess it all depends on what our childhood escapades or ambitions were.
For most men it's about trying to get all the cars and "toys" you wanted but couldn't afford when you were younger.

And I must say I don't know anyone personally who acts like a college frat boy anymore...but that's likely a generational thing, you are correct people are much more immature as adults now.

And yes,I think Charlie is "winning" his battle with CBS,because they want him back and will now have to deal with him on his terms.

[QUOTE=JB5pro;2998294][QUOTE=GeorgeJetson;2997558] I actually heard some guys in a resteraunt complaining they were sick of radio coverage of the japan earthquake and wanted to hear more about Charlie Sheen. QUOTE]

I can relate to those guys very well when I think of the jappanneys allowing thier gvnmt to build a nuclear facility over an earthquake faultline and as if that was not serving the little people well enough they chose not to build a back-up cooling system for what they knew very well would happen.
So, if they want to let thier gvmnt do that to the little people I believe I can be of no help to that way of living.

I would much rather keep track of charlie as he influences many people in a much more logical society here in our good country. QUOTE]

Another stupid comment by me As if the people of any country can actually influence the gvmt to do the right thing... me a real dumdum

A physicist just anounced new info says it could be much worse than chernoble.

No problema...We all pretty much get along well w/each other here, but I've found about the quickest way to create hurt feelings/hard feelings is to bring politics or religion into the mix...

SNL had a hilarious news bit on charlie mocking him for things like using '80's catch phrases, saying he doesn't know the new ones cause he hasn't stopped talking for the past 25 years.
I love the recent SNL crew and skits. I think they are better than ever. At least I can find something new I like better than the old

Yep, that winning just continues....

http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/04/02/ch...n-tour-review/

Personally, I have no use for him, never have. He's so absorbed in himself that he is squandering the greatest gift he could ever have and that's his life. The only thing that continues is the trainwreck. Sure he may (still) have money but I have something he doesn't...sanity!!

He got booed off the stage in Detroit!
Slowly, I am realizing that some or most here actually think I wasserious when I implied I love Charlie and that he gives me hope for the future... cu coo,cu koo.
Nothing written should be automically taken in the lteral sense if you are in any way interested in knowng the truth about anything. Try questions to be sure and not condem someone who could become a good friend. I forgot many dont' want any more friends... especially someone who spews out lies in the name of humor. I got to go handle some snakes no. Be back later after I finish speaking in tounges

Yep,I agree,it's very sad.
He may be "winning" in the sense he will still be able to make money and coast off his past fame, but it wont last.

I have no use for him either, all he is now is a sideshow attraction.
His crazy beatnik poetry with it's bizarre imagery made me laugh though and was probably the most creative thing he's done in a long while.

Again,I'd love to have his money, but I wouldn't want to he him and don't see him as a role model or someone to be admired.

He was booed off the stage in Detroit after saying he figured it was a good place to get crack but in Chicago they actually had to ask people to leave as they wanted more and overall loved him. Looks like he will be "winning" much more than his haters want.
I would like to see him in Sunrise which is close to me but I will be too busy to do so. I bet he reveals more truths than his Hollywood crowd will be happy with. I think ti will be worth the price for general and new entertainment but I would not want to hear any of the "poetic" dribble I have heard from him.
In my opinion a poet he is not.

He's coming fairly local to me, so I checked ticket prices-Hey! It's only $125 for general admission! And, if you're looking for a real bargain, they are offering a $750 "meet and greet" package, so you can share a few words with the man himself!

I've heard the "meet & greet" is FREE is you happen to be an attractive young blonde with 48dd's! ...then you also get the free overnight "one on one with the warlock" pass!

Tiger Woods was in the audience at the last show hoping perhaps to glean some tips from Charlie!

My sister lives across the canyon from Sheen in L.A. She tells us that the helicopters circling his house when he is there is annoying, to say the least.
