a favour guys... can anyone identify this set..

a favour guys...

Can anyone identify this set? The photograph, taken in May1957 for the anniversary of the couple in the photo has lead to discussion about the set in the foreground.

I am sure you guys can identify it???

Any help would be really appreciated...

Chris:

It's a Stromberg-Carlson TC-125.

I thought I've seen that grillcloth somewheres before...
Looks like this Zenith, but sideways. Don't know if it's original.

I Agree. The knobs are unmistakable.

Steve K and or Steve D always seem to be able to identify sets! I was going to guess Stromberg, but without conviction.
