Some Ebay Sets I Found while I was Browsing......

http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Magnavox...#ht_500wt_1156

It's looks to be from around 1976-1977 or so and in very good working order. Pretty cheap for its condition.

http://cgi.ebay.com/GE-GENERAL-ELECT...e#ht_500wt_922

Very expensive, especially for a 1970's set.

http://cgi.ebay.com/SONY-Vintage-KV-...#ht_604wt_1141

Looks to be mid-1970's. Very decent price considering its condition.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Toshiba-...#ht_500wt_1156

This Toshiba is being sold not too far from my house. It picks up decent reception with a broken antenna.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Zenith-B...#ht_500wt_1156

There's something unusual to me about this set: The channel lights stay on even though the TV itself is off.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Panasonic-Portab...#ht_500wt_1156

Manufactured in September 1982.

And some Craigslist sets:

Two console TV's for sale.

This set has been posted on Craigslist before. Last time, it was posted, the seller mentioned that it was manufactured in 1977.

That high priced GE is actually from the early '60's.

I don't think that 12" Zenith has dial lights. It looks like a reflection from the camera flash. Still, it's one of Zenith's later 12" B&W sets and they were good performers.

Concerning the CL Zenith consoles, the one on the left is a circa '84 model. The one on the right is one of those horrible '90's models and likely has a weak CRT.

That Ge is pretty neat. If that was at a local sale for cheap I would most likely cave in and buy it.

No way is that GE from the 70's, early 60's would be my guess, the metal back looks identical to my 1959 GE.
When was a Sams 628-2 published?
