posting test - photographic problem post #2

This is the same photograph Red Raster tried posting above. I am posting from Pbase and have no problem. He is posting from Flickr and like a few of my other friends on Flickr, has a great deal of problems posting from this site.

Does anyone out there have an answer for us?

The Flickr pages just end with a slash, but images will only show in the forum if the URL ends in .jpg

Here's the steps I use with the Firefox browser.

Go to a picture page and right-click on it. You'll get a choice of several images sizes.

Choose one of them. That will take you to a new page. Then, right click on the picture and choose copy image location.

Paste that between [img][/img] tags. Viola!

Or you can host your pics here as long as they are 900 X 900 Pixels or smaller.

Flickr just wants to make sure there is a credit to their site for hosting the photo, and made it sound much tougher than it is when they changed their code.

1) go to the page with your photo.
2) above the photo, click on "share this"
3) a pop-down menu appears - click "Grab the HTML/BB code"
4) a window titled "copy and paste the code below" appears
5) below the code window, select the size you want (I often pick large) and click the radio button that says "BBcode"
6) NOW copy the code and paste it directly into your videokarma message editing window - no use of "insert picture" buttons or other fiddling in Videokarma is required

You guys can always click on your name and host a photo in your personal album, here on AK. Then you can do the BB code thing and insert your photo here like this

Its free and easier to use then any other hosting site
