Although it's a 1960's console, $199 seems a little expensive for a set that doesn't even work.

The 2000 was a limited production set (2000 made) it cost $2000 in 1969!

Hmmm...I'll be in that area next month...but really don't have the $200 to spare

I wonder if that's fingerprints or chips on the smoked doors...

If I had room and time to go for it I would. I still have nightmares about the thread on the gutted one.

Well, the auction ended with no bids. Wonder if it was pulled?

If it's in good cosmetic condition and working, these usually go for around $500. $199 is cheap, I'd jump on it if it were in the area. I'm sure it can be fixed.

Man that is a rare find Who knows it could have been an easy fix, or a nightmare.. I would have loved to jump on that set if finances permitted.

I had one, but the market was down when I sold it... I only got about $125 for it... although that was a good turnaround as I only paid $25... The 2000's are interesting and unique, but are a bit overrated in my personal opinion.

RCA 2000 Looking for a Good Home

Hi. I have an RCA 2000 limited edition console TV that used to be my grandparents'. It's in good cosmetic condition, and it works too. I have the original technical manual, the original operating instructions and warranty, the original remote control, the original remote control bag, and the original plastic remote control basket that looks like it was meant to be attached to the arm of a recliner. Photos available on request.

I'm located in NJ. Don't need a lot of cash--just looking for a good home.
