19" daewoo CRT tv

Is this worth buying? If it works and all, it might be a good deal but I probably need a converter box?

Not for $50. Daewoo is a cheap junk brand and you could find something better, like a Panasonic, Sony, '90's era Magnavox or RCA for $50 or less and it would be a better TV.

I wouldn't pay more then $20. It's a cheap cheap set. You could probably get a better one at the Goodwill.

I wouldn't take it as a gift, myself. Those were terrible sets when new, and aren't going to be collectible for many many decades to come, if ever.

Daewoo wasn't that great of a product but it was better than a Funai, Haier and Apex. I think that some of the small screen Zenith sets were made by them in Mexico. Seems to me they also made small hospital sets with grounding line cord and wired remote, that worked fairly well.

We had a '92 Daewoo 19" in our bedroom for years. It was a very handy tv to have. With it, I was able to show Laura what bad linearity looks like, as well as poor HV regulation, dying filter caps, etc-it was a very educational tv!

I pass by sets on the curb better than that every day. Just look around, you will find more free 19" sets than you can ever use, free.

I would have to assume they are offering the $50 to take it away, since noone would pay anything for an old small curvedscreen like that.

People are dumb and assume that since they paid $100 for it, that its worth half of that when they go to sell it.

Last month I had to try to convince a relative to bin their old PC - was an athlon 700, SDRAM, etc etc. They were certain someone would pay $200 for it because they see old computers sold for that all the time.

Always thought it was funny when people called Daewoo " Daewood " an old timer on my block said that once.

I think it very hypocritical of people tell you about the value to you save those who are not. In my country, like television that would be a symbol of social wealth is very high caste! In addition, it could be used in a television old television and make a working group once again. Appointment of if one has not occurred is very negative, when they give redeployed digital للادميرال my country and I could Surgery former television ماغنافوكس myself recently received!

DAEWOO brand is upper caste in my homeland.

I am very ميرا
for that is my up high to contact this email person.

Well there ya-go. If you go look at it, and its got a good picture and worth $50. to you, then its a good set. If my sister never takes back her 25" Sanyo black crafted plastic cabinet tv with mono single speaker and right side vent holes where the speaker would be if it were stereo, I'll keep it and be happy because I did a full convergence and turned all the other thingies on it to make a better picture on it than when I got it to fix a minor power supply problem. Was that a run-on? I was the run-on king of my elementary, middle, and high school.
