I have an RCA color secure view clear 13" set in my office. It was made in 2005. That price is crazy - I think I paid $5 for mine.

I had a slightly older clear RCA with the TX series chassis that someone gave me.
I was wondering how these prison TV's end up on the "outside". Are they sold as surplus property or does the prisoner take the set when they are released?

I think it is theirs to take, I see numbers and sometimes names on them. I'm not going to prison to find out though LOL.
