Library Of Congress special on History
I did not get to see all of it but it was exciting to see some of the incredible collection of equipment to play old video tapes and all else in order to put all from the past into digital form for all to have access to. It is a real good feeling to know those in charge think like me and I guess many here.

Just saw a bit more. They say EVERY recorded sound is being digitized for access to everybody in the world! That is exciting and generous to those who can appreciate such value. DFor records they use a Simon York turntable which costs about $20,000.00. That is much better quality than my RCA turntables... yes I am trying to be mildly funny about comparing my record players to a Simon York.
