Zenith 6R886 Radio Phonograph
My Dad started restoring this before he passed away a few years ago. I finally got curious and unpacked it today. It's appears to all here except for 3 tubes and the phonograph
I checked with his widow and it's gone for good. Her sister rescued it from the trash, was going to use it for a sewing box and chucked the phonograph. Is finding another one hopeless?

I think your best bet is to find another similar Zenith and swap out the phonograph. Perhaps a Cobramatic like this would fit ? http://cgi.ebay.com/Zenith-Model-J66...270553842419QQ

Find a mono Cobra-Matic from a console that's being gutted. I bet it would drop right in.

Dumb question #1 - 78 rpm?

Originally, it might have been a pure 78 setup (not sure about the age, it might have been a multi-speed). A 33/45/78 Cobra-Matic would likely fall right in place, or at least be easily adapted.
