Stromberg Carlson Rochester TV12-H2M
I found as the tittle states a SC "Rochester" model TV12-H2M, for sale locally. Cabinet is in nice shape other than the finish is ruined at the very bottom of the legs. The nothing works tuner, turntable or tv but everything is intact. What would a fair price be?

Some of these use the 12up4, some use the 12qp4 crt. Not as easy to find as the 12lp4, but available. The TV-12s I have seen in the last yr or so have sold for $75-150 (no base cabinet). Good looking set.........

It is I believe a Dumont chassis similar to the RA103.
The tube could even be a 12JP4. Is the turntable in that base? That doesn't look like it matches the set's finish, is it a factory option? If the tube checks good and it's all there (minus a couple knobs obviously) than I would agree that $150 wouldn't be out of line for the top end. |

responding took over a week to get back to me, I have been led to believe this is from an estate, so I'm patient. The set is about 35~ miles from here but about an hour drive. As far as it TV being original to the base; this is courtesy of Tom Bavis' website: ![]() BUT the base and TV cabinet don't match well at all seen here: ![]() Seller is at the high end of what you all have kindly stated what a fair price for a tested unit is. Thanks |

It's hard to tell from that ad, but I think the front of the TV should be flush with the front of the base, with the back hanging off.
Nice looking setup, and S-C gear seems to have tank-like build quality.
