Someone save this '60's Zenith

http://cgi.ebay.com/1960s-Zenith-col...item5d26dce957

I'd be all over this like white on rice if it were closer.

Hardly anything is close to us, and we're 300 miles apart! Of course, Katrina took care of a great deal of vintage merchandise down here.

Sweet! Good looking Zenith! I have a similar set without the speeaker on the left. It's a SC600.

I wonder if that is the same chassis that I just picked up.

I am having some focus issues that Doug suggested a new HV Se rectifier.

okay, got it going somewhat.replaced horizontal output and damper tubes.now we have high voltage.cooked the crt for about 3 hours and it came up!crt checks out pretty good now.certainly not going to change this one, even with the slight halo.convergence coils are another issues.one coil was was broken with a mile of red wire all over the place.so picture is not too nice too watch at this moment.tuner lights are out and the channel switch is broken.also, that wonderful zenith vertical distortion-top and bottom is a little short and adjusting wont straighten it out.probably a cap but which one?cabinet is really nice and with high voltage,a good crt, this one is definately a good save.will post some pics later.

Right on Sampson! Mine produces a good picture, as like most Zeniths do.. What CRT is in that set?
