Magnavox TV Question
I have a 21" Magnavox Tube type TV that quit working.
Made by Samsung January 2006 The red "Standby" light is lit but TV does not turn on. Remote and power button do not respond. Can anyone give me some direction to fixing this? I am relatively new to fixing TV's .... Thanks so much!

Is there a chassis number printed on the paper label on the back of the set?
I would check for a shorted HOT, shorted diodes in the power supply, and bad electrolytic caps.
