Having not given this flick much thought when released, I started getting a lot of good reviews from people and my wife has a habit of watching every movie that was nominated for an oscar. This won 3, So into the PS3 it went. It's hard to review a movie were anything you say could give it away. It's about a guy born old, I mean maybe 90, But the size of an 8lb boy. His life is read by his daughter from his diary. It's a strange life to be sure, His age is in reverse. It was very interesting watching as he progressed to his teen years and younger. A pretty smart screenplay, And the best shot movie I've seen in awhile. Well acted, And how this lost best picture to Slumdog Millionare is a mystery to me. It's better in every way.

I preferred "Slumdog". I guess because it was clever and it gave me a an unexpected stark look at a very different culture played by endearing unknowns.

Both movies are nice. But I'm leaning more to Slumdog.

Didn't see Slumdog. I thought the acting in Benj. Button was terrific. Maybe the best performance I've ever seen from Brad Pitt. Though IMO, it was too long. I think they could have cut at least about 20-30 min. Especially the scenes of his married life with Daisy.

I liked it alot and will probably watch it again.
Haven't seen Slumdog yet, but agree that this is a very, very well done movie with interesting characters.

Agree it's long, And agree Pitt did a great job. An usual story to tell for sure.
