Dollhouse

I'm an admitted Josh Whedon fan. He usually puts out a fresh twist on things. Dollhouse just took off big time with tonight's episode. It's lucky that the network kept it on for long enough to build the story and pull all of the previous episodes together.
Here's hoping it's not another Firefly.

Have yet to see this program. I liked Firefly, so if it's not "another Firefly" perhaps I will not like Dollhouse?

I am hanging in, so far. I've yet to develop any real interest in the characters however.

"Castle" on the other hand (w/ Nathan Fillion & no Whedon involvment) is pretty damn funny.

Soundmotor - What I mean is that I'm hoping the network doesn't cancel it like they did "Firefly". There is a really involved story developing, especially as shown with the March 20th episode.
Mystic - "Castle" is good, and I like Nathan Filion, but it seems to be a takeoff on "The Mentalist" in some way. I'll catch it when I can, but it isn't on my Must See list yet.

Firefly hooked me from the first show even though the story arc made no sense. Always felt like I was missing out on something but I still liked what I saw. Seeing it later IN THE CORRECT sequence, well; all I can say is what a shame it did not get shown that way to begin with and in a consistent time slot. It surely points out what nitwits the network suits can be.

OK, Dollhouse. I am not saying I don't like it what I am saying is that so far, it has not 'caught' me the way Firefly, Terminator, Sarah Connor..., BSG, even SG Atlantis. I hope Dollhouse finds its groove and does not get canceled as there is a good mix of actors onboard and w/ BSG gone, Sci-Fi Friday is left only w/ Terminator. So far Dollhouse just feels a little stiff not unlike ST Enterprise did. By the time it started clicking it was too far gone to be commercially viable and Bzzzzzt! canceled.
