OK, what is it?

A mystery set I spotted on craigslist (no affil, blahblah...): late '60s or so, 23", possibly an RCA clone for a store? The area below the tuner smacks of RCA, but the tuner part itself I doubt. What's your verdict? I'm confused.

It's an RCA. It's been so long since I've seen one of those, I forget the chassis number. It's either a CTC-24 or CTC-25. RCA only had that tuner for one chassis. It does have UHF but it was a one knob system. To fine tune, you push the channel selector knob in. The face plate underneath tilts out and the user controls are behind it. It was a bad set up and you had to fine tune those ALL of the time. They went to the tuner with the outer ring on the next chassis and never used that one again.
