The Night Gallery Box Set, the entire first season including the pilot.

The Twilight Zone "In Color"

I had to watch this in B&W on a 19" RCA portable when it was in first run.

Uhh, no disrespect, you're a moderator & all, but I'm about 100% sure "Twilight Zone" WASN'T in color. Oh wait-yeah, the abortive mid-80s thing was. But there were, what, about a dozen of those shows? -Sandy G.

Night Gallery was just like Twilight Zone, (Rod Serling, same type of show) but it came on back in the late 60s-70s(?) thus it was in color.

I always thought Night Gallery was a bit scarier. That music still freaks me out, whereas the TZ theme is just cool and campy.

Sandy, yes TZ was B&W, guess I should have said "Like" the TZ in color

Rod Serling even comes out and does an introduction just like TZ.

These are more scary, there is one episode where there is a creature (maybe Satan?) trapped in a well in someones basement, that one scared the Sh** out of me as a kid, watching alone, late at night,

1970's Horror was awesome, I miss those days.

Oh yeah !! They WERE scary as all get out !! Remember "The Earwig ?" And there was one about this guy who could fake death by a series of raps'n' taps on a sounding board- and the one where this little kid could see the future & the sun was going to go supernova? Yeah, great show-nothing w/that level of imagination could make it nowadays-we just wanna see some bad-comb-overed beauzeau snarling "You're fired !" at hapless folks. Another good show was "Darkroom" from like 1979-80. Kinda in the same vein as "Night Gallery". I think maybe 3 people besides me actually watched it. James Coburn was the host-he's kinda sinister, & made a pretty good surrogate Serling. -Sandy G.
