common positive lytics

1000MFD @ 30VAC
500MFD @30VACsp

The 500MFD section has a common positive.

Where can I find a replacement.
Magnavox part number 270063-1

i dont know of anyone who still makes common positive lytic cans. They were used in bias supplies of tube amplifiers. The best thing you can do at this point is just to install separate electrolytics and tie the positive to ground, or find someone who may be able to make you a custom multi section capacitor with a common positive. Could cost you though.

I would definitely just replace with individual caps...I seem to have run across these in older transistorized equipment which uses a positive ground.
Polarity should be observed carefully as I think I have seen some electrolytic cans where one section had negative connected to the can and the other section had positive connected to the can.
