You either think they're genuis or not. It's comedy that requires effort on the listeners part. Several of us seem to think they are damn funny. But my wife and friends can't stand em. The production values of their albums are amazing, they make a lot of literary references, sometimes current topics, more often world history and culture, their "punch lines" involve saying the thing you least expect to hear.

If you love MST3K and Montly Python, you might love Firesign.
