Curtis Mathes, fine furniture makers, lousy guts---at least that vintage (as I understand). Looks like from the 80's Were'n these Sanyo or some other Jap chassis?

In another thread I told of my NBC NYC studio tour back around 1972. They took us by one of the control rooms and I saw banks of C-M studio monitors there with such fantastic picture quality! Of course those were professional grade and probably were fed directly off of those 2 or 3" VTRs of the day. No signal degradation from being broadcast.
