I know. I've seen an HDTV LCD TV at Radio Shack and the picture was the worst I've ever seen! My 1982 Zenith could run rings around that thing. Best Buy to me, I don't know how anyone else here perceives it, but it seems like it caters to the under 30 crowd who wants the latest things. I dunno, maybe me turning 40 this year might have a small part in that, but overall, I feel like an old geezer when I walk in there.
BTW, last year our stove went and we needed a new one. Best Buy, like most other stores, do have discounts on stuff that is slightely cosmetically damaged. We looked at such a stove there and decided to look at Lowes; instead and we got a new stove with no defects for a price that was less than at Best Buy.
