I would imigaine that there would be as many opinions as there are AK'ers. I never cared much for Zenith, and didn't find them any more reliable than any other brand overall. I never liked the orange red of the picture. That being said I think you could find some good sets in any major brand. I have wondered what the set would be if you could combine the best of all manufactures designs. Use only the highest quality parts and build it with the highest craftsmanship. ( no it wouldn't be a Zenith, or any other known brand for that mater)
