I made a 4 tube FM radio using an 8BM11 compactron for 1st and 2nd IF, a 17C9 tube for the RF/Convertor, a 6SL7 1st audio and 6L6 output. Sometime I need to try and sub in a compactron for the old time tubes in the audio stage.
