From the tube type numbers listed, they appear to be compactrons. These sets were made in the early Seventies and in my experience usually work quite well. I'm glad you saved it. Even many collectors won't look at a 12" black and white set. Matsuhita made sets are generally beter than average in performance and reliability. It looks to me like you've got a nice one. Some more detailed pictures would be nice.
