I seem to have long dry spells, and then I suddenly find a treasure trove! I went today to look at an old house about 10 miles from me, as the owner wants me to tear down all buildings on the property. Behind a 1940's bungalow is a ca. 1900 house that was used for storage for 50 years or so. The contents of these 2 houses as well as 4 sheds are mine for cleaning up the place. A lot of goodies here, antique furniture and household stuff, 2 wood-burning stoves. But the first thing I noticed were the t.v.'s that are stacked in the living room of the back house. they are;
RCA CTC-38 console (looks good, no cataracts on CRT)
Zenith Space Command 600 console
RCA B/W 21" table set, ca. 1958
Muntz 21" B/W console, ca. 1953
there's also a 19" table set there as well, but I don't know what it is as there's a bunch of stuff stacked in front of it right now.
I haven't even really looked through the sheds yet.
I'm moving the t.v. sets home tomorrow.
I brought home a Silvertone radio and a Silvertone accoustic guitar today, as well as some antique kitchen utensils
