A freind in the car business would tell of Chevy Caprices and Crown Vics, etc. being purchased to be given to chosen citizens in the middle eastern areas like Saudi Arabia.
They buy nice condition cars and also buy new odometers to install in them.
I imagined the people being told they are new cars and I am certain they would not dispute that. I saw a 60 Minutes show where a king over there would allow his people to line up to speak to him personally to ask for a gift.
Apparently he is such an awesome king as to even give them new cars... for free!
