There is an empty Curtis Mathis factory in Athens, Texas. Appearently Curtis Mathis dumped quite a few hazardous chemicals around the site. for this reason, it is a superfund site.
Believe it or not, there are a few components, ICs and such, that are still fabricated in the US and used in television sets. I work in the semiconductor industry and am aware of these.
