I had a supply multi-section filter cap explode in an early Panasonic color console and the can ended up going through the pix tube while doing convergance. It took almost 2 years for all of the glass shards to fester out of my arm. I did get another tube into that set and it worked up until 10 years ago when the supply of HO tubes really dried up.
