The high bidder's profile shows they're in the USA, and have what I would call an outstanding feedback record (about 2000, with NO negs!). So it's probably someone we know of, but may not be an AK member. I don't recognize the name as being anyone I've traded with. It isn't Dr. Dan, as he isn't on eBay and he bids through me when there's something he wants. I don't think he saw this set, or you all would have seen my name on there, and thought I'd won the lottery with the size of the bid! I wonder if this is the same set that Norm Braithwaite was selling a few years ago up in Northern Cal? That one worked though, if I recall. Dr. Dan was negotiating with him, but someone else snapped it up.
