I too liked Eggleston as the Doctor. I have been watching the new ones and the new guy is just as good, just different. The chemistry between him and Rose is still strong. Rose gets alot of character developement, and a much larger role than any previous companion. The story lines are very good, too. I don't want to reveal any surprises for those who haven't seen it. Both new doctors are as strong actors as Tom Baker, and as fun to watch.
