It's working again!
The problem was either an out of spec resistor (R234 6.8Meg) or one replacement electrolytic may have made contact under the chassis, I replaced both the resistor and lytic..problem solved. The brightness control works great. Looks much better now, Thanks to all for the help. I really want to have this one working when the "Color" Honeymooners DVD's are released the end of June.
Does anyone know the model number of this set or the year 1966,1967? and was this a remote set? or any info on this mini console.
