Having recently watched OBWAT again, hyperbolic & allegorical would best describe it, but not agendized. By your diktat, Paper Moon & Grapes of Wrath would also fall into that category. I just don't see an attack nor buy a wheels within wheels subversion either. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
