in CA the fee has changed from being charged when disposing to WHEN buying a tv set.
I beleive, TV shops charge a fee or used to. This shows how disposable TVs now are. Most recyclers won't bother trying to sell or part sets, too many, no market. Not a old tv in sight rarely.
