Worth?

The concept of 'worth' gets funky when items which are very rare and would seem to have great value based on their significance like your Philco FT color set do not have an audience of buyers that are willing to fork over money for them. IMO your Philco would have to be easily worth $20 grand, but finding a TV collector that is willing to pay that for any vintage TV is hard. That is I think because vintage TV's have not yet become a stabilized trading commodity like Catylin Radios. I think time will clear up this discrepency as TV collecting matures. Some of us TV collectors are certainly sitting on some real treasures though, that is for sure.
